Telegraph Ave Lofts & Retail is a mixed-use development at 2935 Telegraph Ave in Oakland, CA. Calichi was retained by Madison Park Financial Corporation to peer-review the existing civil plans and reports, then carry the project through construction administration and civil close-out. We joined the project in 2016, with construction already underway.
Our construction administration work covered RFI responses and civil correspondence, coordination of streetlight and survey CAD files between the contractor, the survey team, and the electrical team, and drainage research for the building’s landscape planters. For civil close-out, we prepared a stormwater maintenance agreement, produced a site exhibit for that agreement, and completed an uncompleted-improvements cost estimate for the project’s bond requirement. The estimate covered site improvements including bike racks.
The project reached civil close-out in 2018. Our engagement spanned from the initial peer review in 2016 through the final close-out documents, providing two years of construction-phase civil support.
