The Beginnings of a Civil Engineering Firm

The intent to provide a more effective way to collaborate with design teams was the goal of bringing CaliChi Design to the planning table of municipalities and private developers. 

Coming from a national civil engineering firm, Reco made the decision to offer services in a more effective way: to improve upon industry-standard service by adopting innovative technology, providing reliable and responsive service, and applying high-level technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies.

From offices strategically located in the Northern California Bay Area, Hawaiian Islands and Pacific Northwest; the firm is able to provide a full spectrum of civil engineering and consulting services, including design and commissioning in compliance with green building standards. Reco also holds Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accreditation and promotes sustainability in his professional and personal life.

Though the firm has grown significantly, Reco, as principal, along with a stellar and proven team, continues to provide clients with seamless design, delivery and execution through active involvement in every project. Today, CaliChi’s clients include private owners, developers, public organizations, national and regional design firms, national and regional contractors, K – 14 institutions, and numerous retail chains.
