Groundbreaking on a Landmark Project, Oakland, CA

CaliChi Design Group is proud to work alongside oWOW Developers and a talented group of Sub-Consultants to bring about this unique project for the City of Oakland.

oWOW has designed and just broke ground on the what will be the tallest Mass Timber Structure for the US and the world’s tallest Mass-ply Structure.

Ceremony include City officials, Key stakeholder and Community Groups, along with a team of talented sub-consultants.

Event commenced with blessings and a blowing of the ceremonial schauffer horn from a Rabbi with well wishes for project, and the world at whole. A champagne toast kicked off the shovel ceremony. We will be watching closely as this landmark building comes out of the ground and becomes a reality.
