468 Turk Street is a new 9-story affordable workforce rental building in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood. Calichi provided civil and dry utility design services for the project. Both disciplines were covered under a single contract that grew through two additional services requests, spanning survey, intent planning, construction documents, and construction phase services.
The civil scope began with a topographic and boundary survey of the site and surrounding street frontages. Calichi also prepared off-site street improvement planning and layouts, conducted data collection, and produced preliminary submittals. On the dry utility side, the base contract scope included joint trench intent plans.
ASR #1 extended the contract into construction document production, adding civil construction plans and dry utility construction documents to what had been intent-level design work. Construction phase services for both the civil and dry utility scopes were authorized under ASR #1. ASR #2 added PG&E temporary power intent plans to the dry utility scope.
