Kingsley Dental Group engaged Calichi to provide civil engineering services for a renovation of their dental office building at 1733 Professional Drive in Sacramento, California. Calichi coordinated with DERN Architecture + Development on the project and handled the civil scope, covering the survey work and entitlement documentation that the renovation and permit process required.
The project involved two parallel workstreams. The first was a topographic and boundary survey of the property. Calichi subcontracted the field work to Sousa Land Surveys and completed a site visit to Sacramento as part of that effort. The survey established existing grades and property lines, providing the design team with the site data needed to advance the project. The second workstream was civil planning and entitlement documents, which Calichi prepared to support the permit application and carry the project through the city’s review process.
Both scopes reached 100 percent completion. Calichi invoiced the project in June 2018.
