Calichi provided full civil engineering services for the ground-up construction of a new Audi dealership for Fletcher Jones Boscell in Fremont, California. The project began with demolition of existing site improvements and built out into a complete civil package covering both on-site and off-site work: site plan and horizontal control, rough and precise grading, erosion control, utility plans and profiles, and striping.
The stormwater scope carried particular weight. Bay Area permitting requires project-specific control plans and pre/post drainage analysis, and the Fremont site also required a Clean Bay Blueprint plan addressing automotive service area drainage on top of the C.3 stormwater provisions. We delivered a stormwater control plan, pre-development drainage map, and storm drain profiles as a coordinated package alongside the rest of the civil permit set.
The full permit package, dated September 2016, covered both the on-site facility and associated off-site improvements, from demolition through final utilities, for the Audi-brand dealership.
